Autumn is one of the most delightful times to visit Southwold. The mild temperatures and colour changing season give visitors a fantastic opportunity to explore all the areas of Southwold which can be taken for granted.
Soak up the beauty of nature by heading over to Walberswick from Southwold, taking in many sights of wildlife along the way. Explore Southwold’s Pier at your leisure, stopping for a hot beverage and a cake at The Clockhouse and take in panoramic views.
There’s always plenty going on in and around Southwold and in Autumn there’s still lots to do within the area. We’ve highlighted a few of our favourite events taking place this Autumn, all of which are family-friendly and a couple of dog-friendly events too! We hope you will check out a few! Just don’t forget to pack a few jumpers, waterproofs and walking boots – after all, you can never be too prepared for the great British weather!

The second gathering of the Sausage Dog Walk in Southwold is expected to take place this October, and we think it’s going to be the biggest one yet!
