Southwold Lighthouse Tours

Open Afternoon at Steamworks in Southwold

Learn all about the historic Southwold railway this Easter at the Steamworks first open afternoon of 2023. The 3 foot narrow gauge railway used to link Southwold with the Great Eastern main line at Halesworth 8¾ miles inland, and closed in 1929. Enjoy a guided tour around the site plus the café and shop will be open during your visit.
Mini Music Makers Easter Special at Snape Maltings (approx. 19 miles from Southwold)

The Velveteen Rabbit at Southwold Arts Centre

A joyful uplifting tale of magic, friendship and hope. This tale is brought to the audience by two actors, puppetry and Makaton, the perfect show for a young family. Suitable for children ages 3 years and older.
RSPB Family Wildlife Walk at Snape Maltings (approx. 19 miles from Southwold)

The Maltings at Snape is buzzing with wildlife so why not take part in this family wildlife walk, hosted by volunteers from RSPB Minsmere. The walk begins and ends at Snape Maltings and you’re recommended to bring binoculars if you have them.
Antiques Fair Southwold

The Antiques Fair returns to Southwold this Easter. Hosted at St Felix School in Reydon, you’ll have the opportunity to browse ceramics, art, jewellery and more.
