Downstairs, the stylish and welcoming sitting room leads through to an inviting dining area with a large dining table and chairs and fabulous dressers laden with coastal trinkets. (We just love the oil lamp effect wall lights.) From the dining area are double doors out to the conservatory, a lovely place for a bit of quiet time or even an afternoon snooze. Preparing meals at Pipe Down Cottage is a breeze in its superbly appointed galley style kitchen – you’ll find everything for a simple life here. There’s also a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer and a downstairs shower room, perfect for rinsing the sand away after a busy day at the beach.
Upstairs are two elegant bedrooms, one with a double and the other with a king size bed, plus a cosy bunk room suitable for young children. The family bathroom is very spacious and boasts a shower cubicle, bath, basin and WC.
Outside there is a pretty rear garden in which to enjoy a touch of outdoor dining.
