Buntings is a warm, inviting and character-filled family home, tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the charming village of Walberswick. With a central location, private driveway parking, a spacious kitchen diner and the village store on the corner, this holiday home offers a practical base from which to enjoy the delights of Walberswick, Southwold and beyond.
There’s plenty of sociable space at Buntings. The kitchen/diner is arguably the heart of the home, with its vintage dining table and chairs, lounge chairs and bi-fold doors leading out to the garden. There’s also a cosy sitting room with feature fireplace, Smart TV and a large selection of books, DVDs and CDs. If that’s not enough, there’s a further snug/music room with comfortable sofa and piano. All the living rooms are filled with light thanks to large windows/doors overlooking the garden. You’ll also find a shower room and WC on the ground floor.
Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms plus the family bathroom. The zip and link bed in the second bedroom, which can be either a kingsize bed or two 3 foot singles, means this house will work well for for a family with two children, or two couples.
Outside there’s a pretty, landscaped garden to the front, with driveway parking for one car. The back garden is a lovely quiet spot, mostly laid to lawn and with a patio and dining table and chairs – ideal for losing yourself in a good book, enjoying a morning coffee, or dining al fresco. There’s a coal barbecue too.
The owners of Buntings have put a great deal of care into their guests’ enjoyment. The house is beautifully presented and offers all the comforts and utilities you could need during your stay.
